What is the scientific name of fish oil?

There are many different compounds in fish oil. Each has a unique name.

What is the scientific name of fish oil?
there is none but omega-3 fatty acid is almost the same and it is Scientific names: Alpha-linolenic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)
Reply:Are you talking about cod-liver oil? Pharmacologists call it oleum percomorphum, which isn't really a scientific name as most of us use the term, although it's a name used by scientists. Have I confuses the issue enough?
