What are the scientific name for the Black Panther and Weasel?

The weasel is Mustela nivalis.

There is no actual species called a black panther, it's just the name commonly given to melanistic leopards - that is, leopards with an excess of the dark pigment melanin, resulting in an almost totally black coat (the markings still show up against the background in certain lights). The scientific name of the leopard is Panthera pardus. Some people also refer to melanistic jaguars as panthers, though this is not technically correct. The scientific name of the jaguar is Panthera onca.

Panther or black panther is not to be confused with Florida panther - this is the name often given to the subspecies of puma found in Florida, though it is just as accurate to call it puma, cougar, mountain lion, etc. When referring to this animal you should always say FLORIDA panther, not just 'panther', to avoid confusion with a melanistic leopard or jaguar. The scientific name of the puma is Puma concolor, and the Florida subspecies is Puma concolor coryi.
