Really small hamsters' scientific name and are they good pets?
Syrian Dwarf Hamster?

They are good pets but only live a year or two at the most.
Reply:You may have seen a dwarf hamster. Dwarf hamsters include: Russian Dwarf hamster, Chinese hamster, and Campbell hamster. They make good pets, even though they bite once in a while, and are hard to tame. You alsso might have seen a Syrian hamster. Those are bigger than the dwarf hamsters, and make great pets. They are easy to tame, but they need a bigger cage compared to the smaller hamsters, of course. If you need more information, you could search it up on the internet ( Google), find some books, or ask someone. Good luck! :)
Reply:Syrian hamster?

they are the biggest of all the breeds and live for about 3 years

they are very good pets and rarely bite
Reply:i dont know the name but hamsters r ok perts i mean they sleep all day and dont comeout to play. my suggestion would be if u want something like a hamster to get a guinea pig i have 2 and their great, u can let them run on the floor and they loved being held their very effectionate, but they can get pricey.

ok hope i helped

good luck!!!!

Reply:If it has a dorsal stripe along its spine, it's a Russian dwarf. If it's sandy gold with some black and its tummy is white, then it's a Roborovski dwarf. Personally, I'd perfer a regulas Syrian hamster beacuse they're easier to hold, train, and dosn't bite as much as dwarves do. Dwarves are a little more feisty and are a lot quicker. Especially Robos! It dosn't really matter which type you get, but get the calmest and healthiest one! Also, if you want to hold the hamster more than watching it, Syrians are the best choice. ( Last thing: If you want many hamsters in the same cage, get dwarves, never Syrians! They're VERY territorial! )

Glad to help! ;)
Reply:syrian hamster, hamsters are really good pets just take care of them, clean its cage every week, give it fresh food and water everyday and spend time with it and it will love you
Reply:syberian hamsters or dwarf hamsters, the dwarf hamsters are also tiny. hamsters can be really entertaining pets but the downside is they can smell quite bad, even if cleaned out often hamsters usally smell. they are great to watch in their ball running around and on their wheel ect tho, but they do bite!
