Is there a scientific name for the back of your knee?

Just curious about that.

Is there a scientific name for the back of your knee?
It's called the popliteal fossa.

Reply:i don't know about the skin part im sure there is but there are names for those parts of the bones that make the back of your knee....tibial platue and fibula make up the lower part and femor epycondyles make up the top plus muscles and tendons and all that
