Is the order of an Insect different to it's scientific name?

Yes. Scientific name is genus and species and sometimes subspecies. The order is not included in its scientific name. Kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, then genus and species (scientific name). The class is Insecta, and the order depends on the insect but an example is hymenoptera, which is bees, ants, and wasps. Scientific name of say a western honey bee is Apis melifera, which you see is very different from its order.
